Great location and overall a decent home. The beach is just across the street which we loved, beds were comfy and all. We went to papa’s burgers and it was really good! It’s just about a mile away so walkable if you’re up for it, the area around has string lights so it’s very cute to walk at night. We had a few issues that we did communicate with the owner and they were very kind and helpful even offered to send someone but we were able to take care of things. The sink garbage disposal switch was removed for some reason so the sink was getting clogged, hopefully they add that switch for the next guest. There was sand on the bed cover, I imagine sand is hard to wash off so maybe that’s normal. The window sills hadn’t been cleaned and a lot of furniture hadn’t been dusted at least the bedsheets and the bathrooms were clean which was good. Overall the cleaning and maintenance could be better but everything else made the stay worth it.

The space was adequate for my family of 8. The beds were comfortable and the A/C worked. The host team was responsive in addressing our concerns upon arrival. It seems no one had been there in a while. I would recommend bringing a firestick/roku because when we got there the neither internet nor the TV system worked. The maintenance person says they lose connection in that area often. We did have internet restored the first night. Unfortunately someone had broken the refrigerator prior to us arriving. We advised the host and they did work to get us a new one. Unfortunately it couldn't be delivered until the next day. Be aware of Knats and flies in the area. keep the doors closed. I feel we were the first tenants in a while and we were able to tell the host some of the items that were overlooked and they were able to correct most. Hopefully future stays will not have the hiccups we had.

I loved how communicative our host was and how the whole booking and checkout process was so smooth. The view from the upstairs bedrooms at the back of the house overlook a beautiful pond and the beach is DIRECTLY across the road from the house. It only took us five minutes to hit the beach! The stay would have been phenomenal for the entire party if it wasn’t for a few things that really got under peoples skin. First, the downstairs bathroom had a clogged toilet upon arrival which we unclogged no problem. After the first person used it however, it overflowed and spilled onto the bathroom floor. As soon as we walked in to put our bags down we found ants in the kitchen as well as gnats foraging in and around the provided coffee machine. Also when we went to put some food in the fridge the left side door latch just fell apart on us. There were a few other minor things I won’t list but if these things weren’t an issue the stay would have been nothing short of magical. Thank you!
