Bright 3BR Townhome Gulf Views & Steps to Beach

Our stay at Beach Pointe was a 7/10. The host asked us to provide our expected check-in time, and although we gave 6 PM, we weren’t able to check in until around 7 PM. The host was accommodating with the late check-in, which we appreciated. The cleanliness could have been better. Also, the living room TV and downstairs TV are not smart TVs and do not have local channels available. After purchasing a Roku, we were able to use the TVs for streaming. This would have been helpful information to know ahead of time, especially since we were traveling with three children. On the positive side, we really liked that the private beach access was within walking distance. There are also plenty of local shops and restaurants nearby, which was very convenient. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but feel there are a few areas that could be improved.

The House was exactly how it was described and looked! Everything was good had every basic necessity one would need, host was very attentive and helped me with the questions I had. very quick reply! The beach access is super close I would say not even a 5 minute walk and it has its own private entrance which makes it way less crowded than the public access beach entrances that was a huge plus! The location itself besides the beach was so beautiful had many nearby restaurants walking distance. Very good stay overall beautiful place! Very nice hosts.

The place has so much potential, it was just as described and in a very good location. However, the cleanliness of the place was not up to my standards. Check in was at 4, and the cleaning company was still there and even asked us to leave and come back after a 10 hour drive. She did not finish until after 4:30, and she mopped by dragging solution with washcloths on her feet. The bnb had no extra toilet paper, paper towels, and some pillows without cases. The WiFi and living room tv did not work. The host only provided one parking pass when 2-3 spaces are allotted for the stay. We received a notice on one vehicle saying it would be towed, and I let the host know. We never received another pass. Thankfully they had a one car garage, so we had to pull one of our cars in it. The host also thought the house was in a gated community and it is not. I think the area was nice and the bnb was nice, but it needs to be managed a bit better and cleaned better.
