Family Paradise in Destin Pool Beach Grill

The property itself has great potential with beach access, a pool, and pickleball/tennis courts. It’s spacious and well-located, but unfortunately, the experience was affected by several issues. The house was not clean on arrival (dirty floors, stained carpet and walls, dusty surfaces, and broken window blinds), forcing us to clean ourselves. Multiple amenities were missing or broken, including no propane for the grill, incomplete bedding for the pull-out couch, and limited kitchen and toiletry supplies. Communication with hosts was poor and slow—most requests (like propane refills) were ignored. The AC was repaired promptly, but WiFi was unreliable, and SmartTV was very difficult/impossible to connect to WiFi. Neighborhood access codes and basic info weren’t provided as there was no guestbook. At checkout, we were offered money to leave a positive or no review. Great neighborhood but cleanliness, renovations, landscaping and customer service are needed to meet the description.

Hosts were easy to communicate with and made sure they made things right within their control.

That it was actually close to the beach and the house was beautiful, enough for my party size.
