Unfortunately, our stay did not meet expectations, and I would not recommend this property. The biggest issue was a significant roach problem. We notified the host on our first night and were told pest control would come the next day. Unfortunately, no one ever came. Despite following up daily for the next three days, we were repeatedly told it would be "tomorrow." The stove also did not work, forcing our group of 18, including children, to eat every meal out. We planned to use the grill instead, but it was also inoperable. As a result, we had to leave early and spend time during our vaacation to secure another property - costing us an additional $3,600 out-of-pocket (while we wait for a refund from Airbnb for unused days). Airbnb's customer support was exceptional and helped us secure a replacement quickly. Unfortunately, the lack of communication and follow-through from the host turned what should have been a relaxing family vacation into a very stressful experience.
Nice place
The place was neat and welcoming. I gave a 5* overall. I would have given 4.5, but that was not an option. Why? Parking is limited: 3 in driveway and 1 or 2 along the building frontage. The gas grille stops working the 2nd day. We resorted to cooking inside. The outside ceiling fans look like they have not been used often They should still be kept clean. The smoke alarm went on for no reason, in my opinion. I had to go online to figure out how to turn off that particular system. The place was recommended by niece who've been there. Everyone had a blast. Will rent again. I am wondering if bringing our own charcoal grille is allowed.
